Install on desktop

Open Animus in your browser
Navigate to animus.so and sign in.

Install the app
In Chrome, Edge, Arc, or Brave, click the install icon in the address bar (or open the browser menu and select Install Animus).In Safari on macOS, go to File → Add to Dock.

Launch from your dock or taskbar
Animus now appears as a standalone app. Open it anytime from your dock, taskbar, or app launcher.
Install on iPhone or iPad

Open Safari and navigate to Animus
Go to animus.so in Safari or Chrome and sign in.

Tap the share button
Safari: Tap the Share icon (the square with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, or the top on iPad.Chrome: Tap the Share icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Select Add to Home Screen
Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen. You can customize the name or leave it as the default, then tap Add.

Launch from your home screen
The Animus icon now appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the app in a full-screen standalone window — no Safari toolbar or tabs.
Install on Android

Open Chrome and navigate to Animus
Go to animus.so in Chrome and sign in. You may also see an “Add Animus to Home screen” banner automatically appear at the bottom of the screen — tap it to skip ahead.

Open the browser menu
Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome.

Tap Install app or Add to Home screen
Select Install app or Add to Home screen from the menu and confirm. The option name varies by Chrome version.

Launch from your home screen or app drawer
Animus now appears in your app drawer and home screen like any other app. It opens in its own standalone window without browser UI.
Mobile experience
Once installed, the PWA on mobile provides:- Standalone window — no address bar, tabs, or browser chrome. Animus takes up the full screen.
- App switcher integration — Animus shows up as its own app when switching between apps, separate from your browser.
- Home screen icon — a proper app icon, just like a native app from the app store.
- Link handling — links to Animus open directly in the PWA rather than in a browser tab.
